Business Problem:
Cyclones are dust collecting equipment used in cement plants. There was a need to optimize the design of these equipment. This was done as a Research and Development project of the Institute.
Project Description:
The software developed permits optimized designs of the cyclone. It consisted of 5 programs to design new cyclones, optimize existing designs as well as study the effect of different parameters on the performance.
